Wet N Wild - Water Park 2006

Wet'N Wild History

Wet 'N Wild was a water park concept conceived, designed and managed by Dave Hopley and Adam Forshaw, founding members of NANO Network.

The water park was designed originally as part of an activity zone for Chamboree 2006 and was to be solely staffed by Network members (18-25's). Over time Wet 'N Wild evolved in to a full day activity zone for over 3,000 Cubs, Scouts and Explorers!

Wet'N Wild in Detail

The park itself was split in to four areas each of these contained a number of different attractions:

Xperiment H2O
An area where you could have fun with water, without getting too wet. There were water rockets, hovercraft races, rowing machines, boat building, quizzes, marbling and much more!

Surf Beach
Surf simulator, sand castle building and beach volleyball were a few of the activities this area complete with giant 80 ton beach had to offer!

Typhoon Lagoon
This area was filled with water games, from water polo or basketball in our splash pools through to with water pistol fighting in our "Hydra-Fight" arena!

Niagra Falls
This area had two water slides, the hi-speed two lane "Kamikaze" and the inflatable tube riding "Bubba Tub". Also in this area was a Bungee eliminator game!

We also had a reception with services such as lockers, first aid and sports equipment hire, for the many activities on our sports field, including swing ball, table tennis, volleyball, badminton, football and more!

Thanks to our staff!

Andy, Ben, Chris, Dan, Emily, Gaz, Halzy, Huw, Jimmy, Lee, Luke, Moehle, Nicki, Ollie, Richard, Ric, Russell and Spal thank you for your enthusiasm and dedication in making Wet 'N Wild a huge success!
