Transport
Please make transport arrangements locally, if not within your groups, jointly with Explorer Scout Units or contact your District team to see if provision could be made by the District.

What should I wear?
No uniform is required, but please wear your group and centenary scarves for identification securely fastened with a woggle. There is not a great deal of cover around the Park, please be prepared for rain at all times and wear sensible footwear.

How much money will I need?
Pocket money for food drinks/souvenirs will be required, you shouldn't need more than £15.00, there are ATMs around the park as well as popular fast food vendors, shops etc. Alternatively you can take a day sack with packed lunch and a drink.

Park Opening/Closing Times
Gates open at 9.30am, rides and attractions open at 10.00am. We expect the park will close slightly later than the usual 6.00pm for the Halloween Event. Return time will be variable depending on your distance from the park.

Child/Adult Ratios
Alton Towers specify that Children under 12 must be accompanied by an Adult (Over 18).

The Scout section of Cheshire is to celebrate the centenary of Scouting with a visit to Alton Towers theme park on Saturday 3 rd November over the Alton Towers Halloween Event! The invitation has also been extended to all Explorer Scouts in the County so that the two sections can have a joint celebration.

Adults (Aged 17 and over) £15.00
Child (Aged 16 and under) £13.00
Children under 1m in height free

Cheshire Group Photo
All Scouts, Explorers, Leaders and Helpers are requested to join us for a Cheshire Scouts group photograph on the meeting point lawn at 12.30pm

Permissions and Booking
Download a blank Activity Permission form (right) which you can adapt for your Scouts, please keep these yourselves and manage your own home contact system.
A group booking form is also availible (right), please return this with one cheque for the balance made payable to ‘NANO Network' by Saturday 1 st September 2007 to: Adam Forshaw (Administrator), NANO Network, 6 Nixon Road, Cuddington, Northwich, Cheshire, CW8 2QL.
NB : Tickets will be posted out approximately two weeks prior to the event.
